Introducing the IBE Editor Mod (versions 1.19.4 and 1.18.2), a user-friendly GUI mod designed for editing items, blocks, and entities within your current game world. This mod is specifically tailored for server admins and map creators, enabling you to modify any item, block, or entity using a straightforward interface.
Keybinds for the Item Editor, NBT Editor, and SNBT Editor are assigned to I, N, and R, respectively. The Item Editor allows you to edit names, lore, enchantments, attribute modifiers, hide flags, placement/destroy options, and potion effects. Both the NBT Editor and SNBT Editor enable you to edit items, block entities, and entities, add, remove or edit tags, and cut, copy, or paste tags.
To use the IBE Editor Mod, you must first select the item, block, or entity to edit. In the inventory screen, hover over the item with your mouse. In-game, follow this process:
1. If the cursor is pointing at an entity, select the entity.
2. If the cursor is pointing at a block, select the block.
3. If you have an item in your main hand and are not pointing at any blocks or entities, select the item.
4. Otherwise, select your own player entity.
Once your target is selected, open the editor by pressing the appropriate keybind (I for Item Editor, N for NBT Editor, R for SNBT Editor) or use the /ibe command in singleplayer or on servers with IBE Editor installed. The command syntax is "/ibe [target] [editor_type]" or "/ibe [editor_type] [target]." Both target and editor_type arguments are optional.
The Standard Editor interface is divided into two sections: categories on the left and entries on the right. Each category contains multiple entries representing editable data. To switch categories, click on the desired category. Changes made in one category are saved locally when switching to another but not applied to the item until the "Done" button is clicked. If any entry data is invalid, the entry's input field border turns red, and the category name also turns red. Changes cannot be saved until all invalid data is corrected. Click "Done" to save changes and close the editor or "Cancel" to close without saving.
