Introducing the Item Scroller Mod (1.19.4 and 1.18.2), a revolutionary client-side enhancement that offers multiple ways to navigate your inventory GUIs. By scrolling your mouse wheel over item slots or using modifier keys with left- or right-clicks, managing your inventory becomes more convenient than ever.
The mod utilizes modifier keys—shift, ctrl, and ctrl + shift—to manage entire stacks, transfer all matching items, or move all items. Furthermore, it simplifies Villager interactions, eliminating tedious clicking while trading. You can customize the mod settings with config options, including enabling or disabling specific modes, altering scroll directions, and more, all accessible via the in-game config menu.
Key combinations for efficient inventory management include:
- Mouse wheel scroll: Transfer single items in or out of the hovered slot.
- Shift + scroll: Move entire stacks; the hovered stack is moved last.
- Ctrl + scroll: Transfer all matching items between inventories.
- Ctrl + shift + scroll: Move all items between inventories.
- Shift + left click & drag: Move all stacks dragged over.
- Shift + right click & drag: Move all but the last item from all stacks dragged over.
- Ctrl + left/right click & drag: Move only one item from all stacks dragged over.
- Shift + click on empty slot: Move all matching items to the inventory.
- Shift + click outside the inventory: Drop all matching items from the entire inventory.
Villager GUI interactions receive special handling, offering a seamless trading experience. Hold shift and scroll down to fill the recipe/trade input slots, scroll up to transfer output items to the player inventory, or scroll up when the output slot is empty to move input items to the player inventory.
Crafting grids receive enhancements as well. Hover over a crafting output slot and scroll down to fill one set of ingredient items, or hold shift while scrolling down to fill the grid completely. Scroll up to craft one recipe’s worth of items or hold shift and scroll up to craft all ingredients from the grid. Craft as much as possible with Ctrl + Shift + scroll up. Empty the grid by holding shift and scrolling up when the output slot is empty, or use Ctrl + Shift + scroll over an ingredient slot.
The mod also features a recipe storage and recall system, allowing you to store and access your favorite crafting recipes with ease. Simply hold the hotkey for "Recipe store/recall" (default "S") and either scroll
