Description
Introducing the Swampier Swamp Mod (versions 1.19.4 and 1.19.2), a comprehensive overhaul of the swamp biome world generation with new mechanics and enhanced features. Experience the swamp biome as it was intended with our extensive list of exciting additions and improvements.
Discover 13 unique frog variants with customizable spawning options in the corresponding JSON files. Frog-related advancements have been updated to include these new varieties. Enjoy 13 innovative frog lights that now exhibit a bouncy behavior reminiscent of slime blocks.
Explore the two new lily pads, available in large and small sizes. Small lily pads require shears for harvesting. With the new lily pad growth system, these plants become a renewable resource. Be cautious, as standing on lily pads now causes them to sink, but you can adjust the time it takes in the configuration settings.
Encounter new swamp flora such as cattails and swamp vines. Obtain cattails by using bonemeal underwater in a swamp biome, and find swamp vines growing into the water instead of regular vines. Transform a frog into a dangerous, ravenous creature by naming it "Swallow Me Waldo," an effect that can be disabled in the settings.
Unearth swamp gas, produced by decaying kelp and appearing as a green cloud above water. Collect the gas using an empty bottle and avoid the negative effects it causes when walked into (this feature can be disabled). Swamp gas clouds can explode when struck by a fiery projectile, and the explosion size is adjustable in the settings. Create gas lamps with collected gas bottles, as their brightness range is determined by redstone input.
Find decaying kelp naturally occurring underwater in swamps, or create it by submerging kelp blocks. Harvest decayed kelp to create fertile farmland – a new version of farmland that accelerates crop growth (with customizable growth speed multiplier and water range in the settings).
Frogs now drop 1-2 frog legs, which replace rabbit paws in the Potion of Leaping recipe. Rabbit paws are now used to create Potions of Luck (a change that can be disabled in the settings).
Discover swamp villages and dragonflies in various sizes (customizable in the settings). Enjoy the new bald cypress tree in swamps, plantable with oak saplings in a 2x2 formation (also customizable in the settings). Experience enhanced swamp tree generation and additional plants in the biome, as well as added decorative elements
